A tour in the footsteps of Michelangelo.

This tour starts with a visit to the Bargello Museum, the National Museum of sculpture in Florence, where we find early Renaissance masterpieces by Ghiberti, Donatello and then some splendid marble works by Michelangelo. We then move towards the Accademia Museum to admired the statue of David, the world-renowned symbol of the Reinassance and the Prisoners, four unfinished statues that illustrate Michelangelo’s technique in carving marble. We end the tour by visiting the so called Medici Chaples where we admire the Michelangelo’s New Sacristy which hosts the tombs of Lorenzo the Magnificent of the Medici family: the first patron of Michelangelo.

Euros 4,00 for the Bargello Museum
